Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:32
Kevin had a t-shirt with a picture of a pug on the front. On the back, lots of paw prints and the words, “My dog walks all over me.” It was a statement of his love for her, that he was proud of her and wanted to show her off; and also a joking admission that she had a lot of influence over him.
May my life be as that t-shirt, portraying a proud witness of my love for God. May the marks on the back be God’s fingerprints; and may the words be, “God holds me in the palms of his hands.” May I never be ashamed or afraid to identify myself with Him.
So Barbara, my 60th birthday was a tremendous success and my friends and I raised $300 in Canadian funds to purchase Bibles for a Children’s Ministry in Africa. When our funds were transferred into their currency, it was well over 838 and the ministry leader was able to purchase 430 bibles for children. I have never felt so great as I have to now know that each of those children will now come to know our heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. It was one of those instances that like Peter, I had to get out of my boat (my comfort zone).

The statement that I attempt to make is “Let all that I am praise the Lord” in all that I do and say, I daily write/publish the blessings received daily and write and praise God on my FB feed. Many have written to tell me that they love my posts because of my strong reliance on God. I do the same on twitter and have gained a remarkably large amount of followers which I will never understand.
Approaching my 60th birthday on July 15 – the statement that I have made is NO GIFTS for I have a project that I hope my friends/guests will support and that is supporting a ministry in Africa for Bibles for children. I have several Bibles that I can open any time I want and I usually open them every morning. My Bibles introduce me to our Father in heaven and His Son, Jesus; these dear children find themselves homeless with no Bible and no understanding of Psalm 27: 10 so in celebrating my 60th birthday I hope to raise funds for Bibles for these children. I am writing them a letter of introduction and sending a picture of myself along with drawings of Jesus and children of different ages.
I am poor in the eyes of the world but in the Spirit I am rich for I am in relationship with Jesus Christ.
Thanks for this email, Barbara and the reminder that each of us is capable of being a living letter of recommendation for Jesus Christ.

But whatever I am now, it is all because God has poured out his special favor on me – and not without results. God was working through me by His grace. (1 Corinthians 15: 10-11)
